When I started my education, I pursued an applied sciences degree and graduate education, with a focus on national defense applications. I have worked in counter-terrorism in the past, and developed systems to detect contraband previously.

During my graduate education, I became interested in security and reverse engineering because of the challenge of it. I attended my first security conference and found the talks fascincating and found a lot of amazing and interesting people, and decided to change gears and purse a career in information security.

I currently work as a penetration tester for a private company and have held penetration testing roles for eight years. For the majority of that time, I have been heavily involved in physical penetration testing, and it is my favorite type of testing to deliver.
